"Tools for living with ME" course – Morecambe Bay ME Group (spaces still available for remaining sessions) We are pleased to announce the launch of our very first “Tools for Living with ME" Course. The course has emerged out of discussions in the MBMEG development group about sharing coping strategies for living with the condition. We have asked local ME experts, Dr Grimes and Dr Roberts to come and speak. The course will start on the 19th April and will take place at the Friends Meeting House, Lancaster. The sessions will be held fortnightly to give people a chance to rest between. Sessions will be as follows (all 2-4pm): 19th April Dr Grimes Understanding Fatigue completed. 3rd May Dr Roberts Pacing #1 17th May Group members Relaxation 31st May Dr Roberts Nutrition and supplements 14th June Group members Dealing with symptoms 28th June Dr Roberts Pacing #2 We hope the course will be helpful to anyone with ME, but think that in particular it will be useful to people who have been newly diagnosed. The course has a one-off registration fee of £10 to be paid to the Morecambe Bay ME Group.
